Internship at a Parelli ranch in Italy
In June 2019, I spent a month in Italy on a ranch to immerse myself and learn more about the Parelli Method.
My day's agenda:
In the morning, cleaning the stables and feeding hay.
After having lunch, we worked on foot or we rode the horses. Personally, I was able to work, among others, a colt named Noé and an experienced horse in the savvy levels, named Geronimo.
At the end of my stay, I was able to ride a young Haflinger on a trail ride at the end of his backing training.
In the afternoon, we sometimes went on trail rides for several hours.
It was a great experience! I met some really nice people.
Thanks to this, I gained more knowledge in the savvy levels, among others.
